While most of the focus on Monday night revolved around the Bruins’ draft odds, Don Sweeney also shed some light on the team’s ongoing head-coaching search.
Sweeney acknowledged that both he and the Bruins’ top brass have started to narrow down the list of candidates — adding that the team is set to advance to Zoom interviews before moving on to in-person interviews.
He also added that some of the interview candidates that the team is looking to talk to are still in the Stanley Cup Playoffs — which could further push back Boston’s efforts to add a new bench boss in a timely fashion.
