Amidst all of the chaos with Adam McQuaid’s sudden departure to the New York Rangers, the Bruins opened training camp Tuesday morning at Warrior Ice Arena for the players embarking on the preseason trip to China.
One interesting side story from today’s media availability came from an unusual source – The NFL, and, in particular, statements made by Jacksonville Jaguar cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
Ramsey, a notoriously outspoken character, recently stated to ESPN that he was so confident in his athleticism that he could “probably crack” an NHL roster if he trained for six months; something Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy took exception to.
