The Boston Bruins made a couple deals today, signing forward Marat Khusnutdinov and defenseman Michael Callahan to one- and two-year contracts, the team announced ahead of free agency starting this week.
Khusnutdinov was dealt a two-year contract extension through the 2026-27 season, with an annual cap hit of $925,000.
Khusnutdinov, 22, came to the Bruins around the trade deadline when he was acquired along with Jakub Lauko by Boston after the team sent Justin Brazeau to the Minnesota Wild. He played in 75 games last season split between the Wild and Bruins, registering 12 points for the year.
