Lost in today’s free agent frenzy was a bit of news involving an exciting B’s prospect: Samuel Asselin has signed an NHL contract with the club.
Asselin, you may remember, has been with the B’s organization for a couple of years now, but on minor league deals.
The talented forward was signed out of juniors by the Bruins back in 2019, and has bounced between the ECHL’s Atlanta Gladiators and the AHL’s Providence Bruins since then.
Today, the B’s made it official, signing the 23 year old to a two-year entry-level contract with an AAV of $750,000.
