The NHL released its 2021 schedule this afternoon, meaning we now know when you can see YOUR Boston Bruins kick off this delayed campaign.
The B’s will open their season on Thursday, January 14, playing the New Jersey Devils in Newark. They’ll play Jersey again the following Saturday as well.
In fact, nearly every match-up this season will be played in pairs: two games against the same team in the same city, a couple of days apart.
While this may feel a bit strange at first, it’s likely a safety measure to prevent travel whenever possible.
