TORONTO (AP) — Winger William Nylander will take Nazem Kadri’s place at center on Toronto’s third line when the Maple Leafs host the Boston Bruins in Game 3 of their first-round series Monday night.

Kadri was facing an in-person hearing with the NHL’s department of player safety on Monday in New York after his cross-check to the head of Bruins winger Jake DeBrusk in the third period of Boston’s 4-1 victory that tied the series 1-1.
