As many expected, the Bruins and Danton Heinen decided to skip the arbitration process and get a deal done before the hearing.
The team announced late last night that Heinen signed a two-year deal with a cap hit of $2.8 million per season.
It's a fair value for Heinen, who has his share of detractors but is a solid two-way player.
From the man who knows the stats:
Per CapFriendly, the Bruins have just over $7 million in space left to sign Brandon Carlo and Charlie McAvoy.
