NWHL commissioner and Northeastern alumnus Dani Rylan announces today that the NWHL will be expanding to the Montreal and Toronto markets following the recent demise of the CWHL this weekend. This announcement comes after Rylan has had meetings with NHL commissioner Gary Bettman.
The NWHL will be expanding the schedule to 24 games and increasing salaries this season as part of a massive investment by the NHL.
