BRAD MARCHAND NAMED NHL “THIRD STAR” OF THE WEEK ENDING FEBRUARY 14
BOSTON, MA – The NHL announced today, February 15, that Brad Marchand has been named the NHL’s “Third Star” for the week ending February 14. Pavel Datsyuk (Detroit) and Henrik Lundqvist (New York) were named first and second stars of the week, respectively.
During the past week Marchand has recorded seven points (4-3=7) in four games and continued his goal streak to 13 goals in 13 games. Marchand notched a goal against the Los Angeles Kings on 2/9, a goal and two assists in Winnipeg on 2/11, a shorthanded goal in Minnesota on 2/13 and a goal and an assist in Detroit on 2/14.
