According to reports the Boston Pride have been sold to a private ownership group Cannon Capital, which is led by Miles Arnone, through The Sports Advisory Group.
The Pride are currently the only privately owned team in the NWHL after the Pegulas returned ownership of the Beauts to the league following last season. They are also the only team with an active partnership with an NHL club following the breakup of the Riveters and Devils partnership along with the Beauts and Sabres.
Arnone has big plans for the Pride including the addition of a team president, improvements to marketing and continuation of growth on the youth side.
