You’d have to imagine the Boston Bruins are arriving in Colorado on a high (no pun intended). They left Vegas with a strong 4-3 win, which also saw the likes of Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak suddenly finding their form.
However, the Avalanche side they find themselves facing has looked equally as strong, winning 5-3 in their first game against the Calgary Flames before adding a further four goals in a 4-2 win over the Minnesota Wild. They have since had a nice three-day rest.
Perhaps the rest days actually don’t prove useful and we see a slow start from the Avalanche; if that’s the case the Boston Bruins need to capitalise early.
