The Boston Bruins have signed 2014 fourth round draft pick Danton Heinen to an NHL entry level contract. The young Canadian forward has spent the last two seasons playing college hockey in Denver where he has shined in both his freshman, as well as his sophomore campaigns.

As a freshman at Denver, Danton Heinen earned NCHC Rookie of the Year honors and won the conference’s scoring title. He posted an impressive 16 goals and 29 assists for 45 points in 40 games and immediately started garnering attention from Bruins fans, media, and management alike.
