Don't look now, but we are entering the final full week of training camp for the Boston Bruins. So far, the Black and Gold have won two of their first three preseason games, and it appears that head coach Marco Sturm is getting down to what his roster will look like on Oct. 8 when Boston opens the season against the Washington Capitals.
The Bruins announced their first round of cuts for players who are going to head down to the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Providence Bruins. The list includes Joey Abate, Luke Cavallin, Ty Cheveldayoff, Jackson Edward, Colin Felix, Ty Gallagher, Loke Johansson, Jake Schmaltz, Max Wanner, and Simon Zajicek.
