Bergeron, Krug and Acciari to miss start of domestic camp

The Boston Bruins opened up their domestic training camp Thursday morning at Warrior Ice Arena and it did not start off the way that they would have hoped.

Veteran forwards Patrice Bergeron (back) and Noel Acciari (sports hernia), along with defenseman Torey Krug (ankle) will all be sidelined with injuries for at least Friday’s on-ice training session and potentially longer as no timetable has been set for their return(s).

Bergeron, who has been working all offseason to recover from groin and ankle injuries, stated that he has been suffering from back spasms for the past week and has been limited in the gym and on the ice.
