Wale, McNichols honored by MWC

For the second time in as many games, the Broncos have landed a player on the Mountain West Conference’s Player of the Week board. You might recall that Tyler Horton was the conference defensive player of the week after his pick-sixy performance against Washington State. Well, the Broncos were callously snubbed from any POTW honors during their bye week, but landed not one, but two players on this week’s award list after a solid victory in Corvallis.

First, Jeremy McNichols was honored with the offensive player of the week award for his dominant day against the Beavers...a day that saw him score four TDs and rush for a career-high 208 yards (including this short little romp)

Second, senior Sean Wale was given a ceremonial special teams player of the week hat-tip from the conference for a solid day of punting.
