It wouldn’t hurt the Broncos to just go ahead and win the Mountain West Conference tournament coming up. But the Broncos do get UNR in the 4/5 matchup. If you all remember (painfully so) the Broncos dropped the series with UNR earlier on in the year. Not sure how many wins makes their entrance into the NCAA more secure but the more the merrier.
