Softballer Senior Izzy Serrano won the dang thing, too, with a walk-off home run. Pretty awesome way to end a playing career.
On side note, Ms. Serrano is just one of two Broncos graduating this year. Next year’s team will look to improve on an already massively improved run. The Broncos’ turnaround from 14 wins to this years’ 27 wins (so far) is incredible.
I don’t like getting my hopes up about guys making squads. It just hurts my feelings when they don’t, eventually, make the roster.
