Reminder: In order to qualify for the Group of Five slot in a New Year’s Six bowl (like, say...Fiesta Bowl Part IV), Boise State would have to both be the highest ranked G5 school and a conference champion. With Houston’s loss, Boise State is likely in the driver’s seat in that race. Also pursuant to that goal, the win over Washington State is looking better by the week, and helping improve our strength of schedule
...which is a thing we, unfortunately, have to worry about, because we’re not Power 5 and don’t have Nike money.
