The Broncos looked really good. It also didn’t hurt the the Colorado State men’s team has had some issues with their head coach. But the important thing is they had a non-controversial win and made it out of Fort Collins with a W and no injuries.
Their win was a bit closer—55-49—but still very important for their regular-season hopes and the tournament first round bye. They still trail Wyoming (19-7, 12-3 MWC) and UNLV (16-9 11-3 MWC) in the standings but every win is crucial.
