Boise State’s already unproven wide receiver group took a hit Monday afternoon when one of its young talents announced on Twitter he plans to transfer.
Sophomore receiver Bubba Ogbebor said he will leave the Broncos, two days after the conclusion of spring practices. Ogbebor, a native of Frisco, Texas, played in 10 games last season as a true freshman, but did not have a reception.
In his tweet, he thanked the Boise State staff for “embracing me into this program with open arms,” adding that he felt the move was “necessary at this stage in my life.
