The Boise State football team’s first depth chart of the 2017 regular season was released Sunday, and remains mostly unchanged from the pre-fall camp depth chart.
Perhaps the most notable change is sophomore running back Alexander Mattison and senior Ryan Wolpin are listed as co-starters. Mattison has missed two weeks of practice, but coach Bryan Harsin hopes he can practice fully next week. Sophomore cornerback Reid Harrison-Ducros and junior Michael Young have an “OR” between them atop the boundary spot opposite junior Tyler Horton.
A notable position to watch: linebacker. Behind starters Leighton Vander Esch and Tyson Maeva at weakside and middle are a pair of walk-ons who have yet to play a game in their careers (Bruno DeRose and Benton Wickersham).
