Boise State announced their male and female athletes of the year today for the 2015-2016 season and the honorees are hardly a shocker. Darian Thompson, a 3rd round draft pick and the MWC's newly-crowned "king of interceptions" (title comes with a scepter), was the choice for male athlete of the year. Thompson was a two-time Boise State MVP, a two-time All-MWC first teamer, and two-time All-American before being chosen by the New York Giants back in April.
Getting the nod for the fairer sex was Allie Ostrander...everyone's favorite 85 lb distance runner.
