The Boise State football team hosts Virginia at 6 p.m. Friday on ESPN2 as the Cavaliers are the first Atlantic Coast Conference team to play at Albertsons Stadium in the regular season.
Both teams are 2-1 on the year. In their only previous meeting, Boise State won 56-14 at Virginia on Sept. 25, 2015. Quarterback Brett Rypien made his first-ever start for the Broncos in that matchup, and after missing last week’s game, is expected to play Friday.
