The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have waived former Boise State running back Jeremy McNichols, NFL Network’s Mike Garafalo tweeted Saturday morning.

McNichols, a rookie, was drafted by the Bucs in the fifth round of April’s NFL Draft. He was the Broncos’ lead running back for two seasons, accounting for 3,980 yards and 53 total touchdowns in that span. He declared for the 2017 NFL draft with a season of eligibility remaining.
