Former Boise State running back Jeremy McNichols dealt with a shoulder injury last season, and will have surgery to fix it after the NFL Scouting Combine, a source told the Idaho Statesman.
McNichols, who announced Dec. 26 he would forego his senior season for the NFL Draft, has been invited to the combine in Indianapolis, which will take place from Feb. 28-March 3 for the running backs. The surgery, expected to be to repair a torn labrum, likely will force him to miss Boise State’s pro day and often has a recovery time of a few months.
