The first college football games of the 2017 season kickoff Saturday, and with it, ESPN attempted to rank the happiness of each Football Bowl Subdivision school’s fanbase.
ESPN’s methodology consisted of program power, rivalry dominance, coaching stability, recruiting trend, revenue growth and Twitter buzz.
Coming in at No. 1 was Ohio State. At No. 17, second among Group of Five schools was Boise State.
“Not hard to be happy when your team wins 10 games every season (12 times in past 15 seasons),” the site said.
The Broncos scored 59, 96, 38, 73, 28 and 38 on the above metrics.
