Kellen Moore missed all of last season with a leg injury while rookie Dak Prescott took the NFL by storm for the Dallas Cowboys. Despite that, and the fact Dallas has added a few new faces, Moore is expected to be Prescott’s backup in 2017.
Dallas offensive coordinator Scott Linehan spoke with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram about Moore, with whom he worked in Detroit in 2012 and 2013.
“He has been in my room for a lot of years,” Linehan said. “He knows the system. He is one of those guys who can function without a lot of reps.
