Shea McClellin has some solid stories to share.
The former Boise State star defensive end/outside linebacker met with fans young and old Saturday at the Meridian Village, signing autographs for upwards of two hours. He was there on behalf of River Discovery, an organization dedicated to giving cancer survivors opportunities to adventure in the outdoors.
McClellin won Super Bowl 51 with the New England Patriots in February, an epic 34-28 overtime victory over the Atlanta Falcons. The Patriots trailed 28-3 in the third quarter and, admittedly, things looked bleak.
“Maybe it was late in the second quarter, third quarter, and I was sitting there on the bench thinking, ‘Man, this is really going to suck if we go all this way and lose,’” McClellin said.
