Entering tonight’s game, Boise State (11-2, 1-0) would need a solid performance overall to leave Vegas with an important conference win. UNLV Rebels (11-2) have been much improved from last year’s 11-21 squad.
A solid Bronco performance would be turned in.
The first half would feature both teams trading blows. There would be seven lead changes by the 10 minute mark, and a Bronco lead 22-21, from a Marcus Dickinson free throw. After a two minute scoring drought from both teams, UNLV would regain the lead off a Brandon McCoy free throw and eventual layup to retake the lead.
