The Broncos tried to make the game interesting late after leading 43-30 at half. For 10 minutes of the second half the Broncos were scoreless. Fortunately this time it didn’t matter.
Wacker finished with a team high 17 points, followed by Hutchison with 15 and Austin with 11. Hutchison finished with 8 rebounds as well. The Broncos won most of the statistical categories including rebounds, turnovers and points from the bench.
The Broncos shot 29% from the 3-pt line while the Spartans were just 8%. Yikes. The Broncos were 50% from the field versus the Spartans 40%.
