BREAKING: San José State at Boise State CANCELED

Welp. It finally happened. After being one of the lone MWC stalwarts to NOT cancel a game all season due to COVID, the Broncos have had to pull the plug on their NATIONALLY TELEVISED game at the 11th hour due to a surge in cases and contact tracing within the program. The favored Broncos had been missing a double-digit number of players the last two games due to positive tests and tracing protocols, but the number had shrunk from 14 to 12 between the CSU and SJSU contest. This week must’ve been decidedly worse, and with the injuries already stacked up, the Broncos must have felt they couldn’t safely field a team.
