Spending five days with your team, the last time you all will be together, that is a perk of a bowl trip. So is playing a good team in a new environment with plenty of activities beforehand.
But in December, we know what time of year it is, and Boise State’s football team gets rewarded with some nice gifts for each bowl game.
“Best thing about a bowl trip? I think the easy answer would be to say the bowl gifts. Those are always exciting,” junior quarterback Brett Rypien said, adding that those things mentioned above are part of the joy.
