Boise State sophomore guard Riley Lupfer kept up her torrid pace from 3-point range, making her 111th 3-pointer Tuesday in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West women’s basketball tournament at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
Lupfer connected on her third 3-pointer of the game with 7:10 remaining in the third quarter, giving Boise State a 36-22 lead over Air Force.
The previous record was held by Utah’s Iwalani Rodrigues, who made 110 3-pointers during the 2010-11 season.
Lupfer tied the Mountain West single-season 3-point record with 6:28 to go in the second quarter.
