Another day, two more watchslists for Boise State football players.
On Tuesday, the Broncos’ Jake Roh and Mason Hampton were named to the Mackey Award and Rimington Trophy watchlists, respectively. The awards are given to the nation’s top tight end and center. The seniors join juniors Brett Rypien and David Moa on national watchlists.
Slowed by a nagging knee injury last season, Roh had 10 catches for 113 yards as a junior. In his first two seasons with the Broncos, he combined for 68 catches and 765 yards. Hampton made 11 starts last season, his first as the Broncos’ No.
