Boise State senior Chandler Hutchison made Boise State history Sunday, less than 48 hours after the Broncos ended Oregon’s record 46-game home winning streak.
Hutchison became the first Boise State men’s basketball player to record a triple-double, collecting 23 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a 77-54 nonconference victory over Portland at Taco Bell Arena.
The win was also the 150th of coach Leon Rice’s career. He is 150-88 in his eighth season with the Broncos (8-1) and is the fastest Boise State coach to reach the milestone.
Boise State’s single-game basketball records date back to the 1985-86 season.
