Because you have not heard enough of the names David Elliott and Allie Ostrander, here is another one. Both of these Broncos have earned the Mountain West Conference Indoor Track student-athletes of the Year. Both of the selections are the first for Boise State.
Elliott was able to compete in the NCAA championships in the 3,000 meters, and the mile. The 3,000 saw Elliott finish 13th with a time of 8:16.63 which would be good for second team all-American honors. In the mile, Elliott finished fifth with a time of 4:07.16, which was just a shade slower than the winner (Virginia’s Henry Wynne at 4:06.
