Bronco good fortune continues this week as QB Brett Rypien was selected as the Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
The Mountain West has been a bit of a mixed bag, so far, after week two. Colorado State had, arguably, the best win pulling out a win against SEC Arkansas. Air Force dropped their matchup against the Fighting Lane Kiffins. San Diego State having to ‘get by’ Sacramento State.
Statistically speaking the natural candidates would have been K.J. Carta-Samuels and Brett Rypien.
KJCS went 32/47, 389 yards, two TDs and an INT.
