Marcus Dickinson picked the perfect time to have a career night.

The sophomore guard came off the bench for a career-high 16 points, keeping the Boise State men’s basketball team afloat in the first half on its way to a 93-71 win over Colorado State on Wednesday night at Taco Bell Arena.

It was the Mountain West Conference opener for both teams.

Boise State starters Lexus Williams and Chandler Hutchison each picked up two fouls early and spent most of the first half on the bench. Williams played just five minutes, and Hutchison managed eight points and an assist in seven minutes of action.
