The Broncos came out swinging. I was going to saw solid offense, but they shot just 33.3% from inside the arc and 23.8% from 3. But, there is something to be said for not shooting all that great and being up on a team like UNLV. In the first half, UNLV shot 41.4% from inside the arc and 50% from 3 in the first half. The Broncos had the rebounding edge at half 22-20. They also have 10 second chance points to UNLV's none, which seemed to be the difference for them.
Defense wasn't terrible, but the Broncos were slow to transition from offense and UNLV was able to capitalize on that fairly often.
