Before we get an update on the 2017 recruits, let’s quickly discuss the win over the Cougs. While the outcome may not have been what we expected, there is MUCH to look forward to. The defense played a bend-don’t-break game perfectly. They basically dictated what WSU would do the entire night. Yup, the Cougars racked up yards, but they did not rack points. While the Broncos might have mismanaged the clock near the end of the game, they were still pretty efficient with their time.
I’m extremely optimistic about our defense at this point, which is awesome considering how much youth there is.
