Wisconsin running back Corey Clement will miss his seventh straight game and did not make the team trip to Illinois this weekend, according to school officials.
Clement has been medically cleared for the past two games since having sports hernia surgery in early October. Though he took some practice reps this week, he still was not ready for game action.
This week, Clement told reporters he was experiencing both a mental and physical battle in his attempt to return. He has not played since Wisconsin's season opener against Alabama, when he carried eight times for 16 yards before the injury forced him to stop playing.
