Michigan and Ohio State are both targeting No. 1-ranked Rashan Gary heavily -- and both have recently seen changes at defensive coordinator. Those changes will likely have a different impact on the five-star prospect depending on what takes place over the next few months.
Reports surfaced Sunday that Michigan would name Boston College defensive coordinator Don Brown as the replacement for D.J. Durkin, who took over head coaching duties at Maryland.
Gary's mother, Jennifer Coney, said Jim Harbaugh contacted her after Durkin's departure.
