Undefeated Maryland is on the rise -- and having fun in the process

As Maryland quarterback Perry Hills reflects on last season, pinpointing the worst part proves more difficult than expected because of the sheer volume of reasons for disappointment.

Start with the quarterbacks throwing a boatload of interceptions and struggling to complete even half their passes. Or the head coach being fired after six games. Or the interim coach's inability to implement much change. Or that distractions about the program's future were constant.

The losing also played a big factor in souring Hills' experience. He certainly can't look past what happened in those 12 games.

"It was definitely frustrating just as a competitor," Hills said.
