The Spartans’ new starting quarterback tried his best to slow down the past week. He said he’s tried to stay focused and enjoy the little moments as his final college football season approaches. He planned to get his hair cut and a fresh shave, but he had no idea how he was going to make those final hours before leading his team onto the field Friday night against Furman crawl past.
“I hate the day leading up to it,” he said earlier this week.
