Three questions for 2016: Rutgers Scarlet Knights

After a season taking almost as many lumps off the field as on it, few programs in the Big Ten might have been looking forward to turning the page quite like Rutgers.

The firing of Kyle Flood helped kick-start the fresh start for the Scarlet Knights, and now it’s up to Chris Ash to turn them into a competitive factor in the cutthroat East Division (Rutgers was 1-7).

That’s a tall order with so many established programs and big-name coaches in the league, including Ash’s old boss Urban Meyer at Ohio State. But he has hit the ground running by putting together a staff and trying to bolster the roster in recruiting, and how he answers a few other key questions this offseason will go a long way toward building a team capable of getting back to a bowl game.
