Get ready for another Big Ten game in a baseball stadium.
Rutgers has moved its 2017 home game against Maryland, scheduled for Nov. 4, to Yankee Stadium, according to several reports. The news was first reported by CSN Mid-Atlantic.
The Scarlet Knights are apparently all-in on bringing that New York City market to the Big Ten. They lose an on-campus conference matchup but could gain some exposure -- plus a large check from the Yankees -- with the move. Rutgers' High Point Solutions Stadium seats just over 52,000, while the largest crowd for a football game at Yankee Stadium was 49,012 for the 2014 Pinstripe Bowl.
