New Rutgers coach Chris Ash made his reputation as an outstanding defensive coach at places such as Wisconsin, Arkansas and, most recently, Ohio State. It turns out that Ash can excel on defense in a game of one-on-one basketball as well.
The Scarlet Knights posted a video on their Instagram page Wednesday of Ash going up against defensive end Quanzell Lambert in basketball before a team meeting. According to NJ.com, Ash recently put up a miniature basketball goal in the team meeting room, which has led to some fierce competition among the players.
Ash decided to jump in against Lambert, who at 6-foot-1 and 257 pounds claims a major size advantage over his coach.
