Running back LeShun Daniels reclaims difference-making role for Iowa

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Iowa started four combinations on the offensive line and three running backs in the first two months of this season. It lost its top receiver and most experienced tight end for multiple games, yet scored more than 30 points against three consecutive opponents as Minnesota visited Kinnick Stadium last week.

Still, LeShun Daniels, the Hawkeyes’ No. 1 back out of preseason camp robbed of his top gear for most of this season by an ankle injury, said he felt the Iowa offense, at some point, would have to do more to win a football game.
