Philadelphia West Catholic three-star defensive end Tymir Oliver broke down his commitment in a 1-on-1 conversation with Scout. Oliver spoke about Rutgers, and why both he and his mother believe in the Scarlet Knights.
Philadelphia West Catholic three-star defensive end Tymir Oliver maintained since February that a visit from mom would be the final step in his recruitment. Oliver brought his mother to Rutgers, and stuck with the plan by committing at the end of his afternoon.
Visiting alongside his mother and two siblings, Oliver left Rutgers as a commit.
“She liked it and I like that she liked it,” said Oliver, who named Rutgers his leader early in the process.
