Ohio State's Urban Meyer says 'no disappointment' with Fiesta Bowl

Urban Meyer couldn’t watch Saturday night’s Big Ten championship. He said he’d catch a few minutes, pace, overanalyze and then do it all over again.

Obviously, the Buckeyes coach wanted to be there. He wanted to defend his national title in the College Football Playoff. But he was adamant Sunday that, just because he preferred that, doesn’t mean he’s disappointed in Ohio State’s destination to the BattleFrog Fiesta Bowl or missing out on the Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual.

“I’ve just never been to the Rose but, no, there’s no disappointment,” he said, shaking his head.
